The nature of our modern world leaves many of us feeling sapped of vigor and wondering why we even do what we do. You need a rest, but perhaps not the kind you think. God made us to work the land as a means of fellowshipping with Him. It is in the very act of engaging our God’s creation that we discover our human predicament. Even though Creation is broken because of the Fall of humans into sin, God’s creation still produces a majestic bounty. Come and garden with us and learn about yourselves and the Lord through a living parable. We take our produce and we give it to some of our church groups that feed needy people. Plus, we encourage our helpers to take a bit of harvest home as fruits for their labor!
Come out and join us Sundays and Mondays this Spring, and on special dates by announcement. Led by Fred Holcombe and Cal Myers.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. - Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
